On September 28, Meng Jian, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Group Company, was awarded the Shaanxi Provincial Outstanding Talent Award for State-owned Enterprises by the Shaanxi Provincial Federation of Trade Unions and the Shaanxi Provincial State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, winning the title of "Excellent Entrepreneur." This is another honor for Meng Jian, following his previous awards including the China Installation Association's Advanced Individual for the Luban Prize Project, National Outstanding Construction Entrepreneur, Outstanding Entrepreneur of the China Installation Industry, and Outstanding Entrepreneur of the Shaanxi Construction Industry. On December 1, the Group Company's general contracting project—the 1.8 million-ton methanol and 700,000-ton polyolefin project of Pucheng Clean Energy Chemical Co., Ltd. in the Weibe Coal Chemical Industry Park—won the National Excellent Engineering Gold Award, marking the first National Excellent Engineering Gold Award project in the Shaanxi Construction system where the unit participated in general contracting construction. In 2018, five projects of the Group Company were selected for the National Excellent Engineering Award, creating the best historical record for the Group.
