On January 19, the results of the second batch of the 2021-2022 China Installation Engineering Excellent Award (China Installation Star) were announced. The installation engineering projects of the Shaanxi Construction and Installation Group's China Western Science and Technology Innovation Harbor High-end Talent Living Base and the Baoji Grand Theatre construction project (EPC) were among the winners. This award, the highest honor in the field of electromechanical installation engineering quality in China, marks the 19th award received by Shaanxi Construction and Installation Group, showcasing the company's professional strength in the electromechanical installation field!
The China Western Science and Technology Innovation Harbor High-end Talent Living Base project is located in Fengxi New Town, Xixian New District, Shaanxi Province. It includes 10 plots, 55 residential buildings, 14 commercial buildings, an underground parking garage, and service buildings. With a total construction area of 525,000 square meters, it houses 2,106 units and 3,502 underground parking spaces. It is a livelihood project aimed at addressing the housing needs of teachers and staff at Xi'an Jiaotong University's Innovation Harbor. Shaanxi Construction and Installation Group undertook the electromechanical installation engineering for this project.The project has won numerous awards, including the Zhan Tianyou Excellent Residential Community Gold Award, Shaanxi Provincial Excellent Engineering Design Award, China Construction Association Excellent Engineering Design Award, Shaanxi Provincial High-Quality Structural Engineering Award, Shaanxi Provincial Innovative Technology Application Engineering Award, and the Shaanxi Provincial Construction Engineering Chang'an Cup.
The Baoji Grand Theatre, the main venue for the opening ceremony of the 9th Shaanxi Provincial Arts Festival, is located in Jinta District, Baoji City. Inspired by the phoenix,it uses the design language of “the phoenix takes flight, its wings fluttering”. Its three-layer streamlined roof resembles the wings of a phoenix soaring in the sky, dynamic yet serene, both soft and strong. The project has a total construction area of 46,000 square meters and features a 1,205-seat auditorium and a 520-seat multi-functional hall. It is a comprehensive urban cultural complex integrating cultural creation, leisure, commerce, and performances. Shaanxi Construction and Installation Group undertook the electromechanical installation engineering for this project. This project faced a tight construction schedule, a wide variety of materials and equipment, difficulties in procurement and transportation, a large workload in coordinating cross-operational tasks, and densely packed pipelines from various disciplines, demanding high precision in positioning and comprehensive measurement, as well as strict noise control. The project won the first prize in the application project of the 4th "Tangdu Cup" BIM Application Competition.
