The Group Company launched a thematic education and practice activity: "Following the Footsteps of Lao Jiejue and Carrying Forward the Spirit of Lao Jiejue"

In April, pear blossoms in Ningling County are in full bloom, competing for beauty.On the eve of Tomb-Sweeping Day, the group company came to Ningling County to carry out a theme education and practice activity for grassroots Party members entitled "Following the Footsteps of Old Jianjue and Carrying Forward the Spirit of Old Jianjue," commemorating the outstanding Communist Party member "Old Jianjue" Pan Congzheng. More than 100 people participated in this event, including the general manager and deputy secretary of the Party committee of the group company, Dong Yongtang; deputy general manager Hu Ma; Jiang Yunlan, member of the Ningling County Committee Standing Committee and Minister of the Organization Department; and some staff from the Shaanxi Construction and Installation Group headquarters and grassroots Party members from the Henan area. The event was presided over by Yang Jianwen, member of the Ningling County Committee Standing Committee and deputy county magistrate.

At the head of Wan Zhuang Village in Ningling County's Shiqiao Town, there is a tomb. The tomb's owner is Pan Congzheng, the national forestry labor model "Old Jianjue." "Old Jianjue" dedicated his life to afforestation, greening thousands of acres of barren land. He silently dedicated his life, setting an example for a generation of Chinese farmers. His spirit of selfless dedication will forever inspire future generations. Although "Old Jianjue" passed away 30 years ago, the people of Ningling have carried on his spirit, planting trees generation after generation, transforming this windswept and sand-ravaged wasteland into a green expanse, with 220,000 mu of pear orchards fragrant with fruit. Time may pass, but the power of role models endures; flowers may bloom and fade, but the spirit of "Old Jianjue" will remain evergreen. This is a precious spiritual wealth of the Party, a powerful spiritual driving force for carrying forward revolutionary traditions and promoting comprehensive and strict governance of the Party, and a vivid teaching material for the practical education of cadres in the new era.

At the event, Jiang Yunlan delivered a wonderful speech. She stated that the spirit of "Old Jianjue" is inextricably linked to the Party's mass line and is consistent with the "dream-chasing" spirit of reform and innovation in the new era. It has erected an indelible monument in the hearts of the people. She hopes that through this study and exchange, the spirit of "Old Jianjue" will become a widely influential carrier of Party traditional culture education, deeply excavating its underlying meaning and showcasing the charm of its heritage, contributing to the economic and social reform and development of Ningling.

This was followed by a ceremony of offering flower baskets, and Hu Ma led everyone in renewing their oath to join the Party. All participants studied the inscription and the connotations of the spirit of "Old Jianjue".After the ceremony, everyone visited "Old Jianjue's" former residence for a tour and left messages. The documents in the former residence recorded the moving deeds of Pan Congzheng's life and his close bond with Mu Qing, former president of Xinhua News Agency, which deeply touched everyone.
