Since the 1970s, the group company has been cooperating with domestic and foreign companies to undertake some overseas projects, including the construction of a 15MW multipurpose heavy water research reactor in Algeria, a sewage treatment plant in Equatorial Guinea, the expansion of the Kpong water supply project in Ghana, the Kumasi oil depot in Ghana, and the fabrication and installation of a group of oil storage tanks in Sharjah, UAE. The group has completed or ongoing projects in Equatorial Guinea, Ghana, the UAE, and Angola. Among them, the Algerian project won the "National Science and Technology Progress First Prize", and the Kumasi oil depot project in Ghana won the Overseas Engineering Luban Award. Currently, the group's international engineering development goal is to achieve a three-way balance between domestic, provincial, and international projects. To ensure the achievement of this goal, the group company has made great efforts and obtained the qualification certificate for foreign contracting projects in 2013.
