Since the 1970s, the Group has collaborated with domestic and foreign companies to undertake overseas projects, including the construction of a 15MW multipurpose heavy water research reactor in Algeria, a sewage treatment plant in Equatorial Guinea, the expansion of the Kpong water supply project in Ghana, the Kumasi oil depot in Ghana, and the fabrication and installation of a group of oil storage tanks in Sharjah, UAE. The Group has completed or ongoing projects in Equatorial Guinea, Ghana, the UAE, and Angola. Among them, the Algerian project won the "National Science and Technology Progress First Prize", and the Kumasi oil depot project in Ghana won the Overseas Luban Prize. Currently, the Group's development goal for international projects is to achieve a balanced distribution of projects among domestic, provincial, and international markets. To ensure this goal, the Group made significant efforts and obtained a foreign contracting engineering qualification certificate in 2013.
