The Group's Pakistan-Karachi K-2/K-3 Nuclear Power Project Department receives the 1500-day Safe Production Contribution Award

Recently, at a construction phase summary meeting for the K-2/K-3 nuclear power project in Karachi, Pakistan, the general contractor, China Zhongyuan Engineering Corporation (a subsidiary of CNNC), evaluated the five participating contractors. The CNNC KarachiK-2/K-3 nuclear power project team received the 1500-day safe production contribution award.
This project is a key project of the national Belt and Road Initiative, and it marks another overseas deployment of "Hualong One," China's independently developed third-generation nuclear power plant brand. This is a significant project of national importance. To successfully complete this major project and revive the ambition of advancing nuclear power technology, the group company has assembled a large number of elite personnel, carefully planned, scientifically deployed, and implemented orderly construction. The project team strictly controlled the construction progress at each key node, keeping in mind the management philosophy of 'refined management and meticulous construction,' overcoming unimaginable difficulties in overseas construction, and continuously strengthening technical guidance and quality and safety supervision on-site. The goal of 1500 days of safe production was achieved for 40 sub-projects undertaken by the group company, including the fire pump room, demineralized water production plant, liquid effluent discharge plant, and nuclear waste plant.This has received unanimous praise from the general contractor, enhancing the reputation of the Shaanxi An brand overseas and contributing to the construction of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.
