On March 24, the Group's Second Company held a democratic life meeting for its 2017 leadership team. Meng Jian, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Group Company, attended and delivered an important speech. Zhang Linhu, Deputy Director of the Party Committee's Political Department, accompanied him, and Ding Ting'an, Party Secretary of the Second Company, presided over the meeting.
The Group's Second Company regarded this democratic life meeting as an important measure to thoroughly study and implement Xi Jinping's Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. Following the unified arrangements and deployment of the Group's Party Committee, the Second Company's Party Committee made sufficient preparations beforehand. Firstly, they conducted in-depth study, distributing learning materials from the 19th National Congress, watching central propaganda videos, etc. The leadership team also frequently went to the grassroots level to give Party lectures, laying a knowledge foundation for the meeting; secondly, they widely solicited opinions and suggestions,gathering 39 suggestions and opinions in 5 major areas. Responsibilities were assigned in a list format, with time-limited rectification opinions provided; thirdly, they earnestly conducted heart-to-heart talks, opening up to each other, eliminating misunderstandings, and reaching a consensus; fourthly, they carefully conducted self-examination. Ding Ting'an, Party Secretary of the Second Company, presided over the drafting of the company's leadership team's self-examination materials, and the members of the Second Company's team earnestly wrote their individual self-examination materials. Ding Ting'an strictly reviewed the self-examination materials of other team members.
At the meeting, Ding Ting'an, Party Secretary of the Second Company, made a self-criticism on behalf of the company's Party Committee.Based on a review of the Second Company's work in 2017, he reported on the rectification of problems from the 2016 democratic life meeting of the Second Company's Party Committee. He also closely followed the theme and relevant requirements of the 2017 democratic life meeting, combining grassroots opinions and suggestions, earnestly identifying problems, analyzing their roots, and putting forward targeted rectification measures. Afterwards, other members of the leadership team spoke in turn, conducting criticism and self-criticism in a truthful and serious manner.
